We've Been Selected as a 2026 AARP Community Challenge Grantee!
The Virgin Islands Trail Alliance is thrilled to announce that we have been selected to receive a 2026 AARP Community Challenge grant. This year, only 750 grantees were chosen from 5,100 applications from across all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

USDA Forestry Grant Awarded
The Virgin Islands Trail Alliance (VITAL) is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a four-year grant through the USDA Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Grant under the Inflation Reduction Act. This is a reimbursement type grant totaling $2.5 M and will fund VITAL’S project “Healing Forests to Heal the Underserved for Life” to provide underserved communities with access to revitalized urban forests in St. Croix USVI

Bike Safety & Design Workshop
