Virgin Islands Trail Alliance at Agrifest 2026

The Virgin Islands Trail Alliance was proud to participate in the 2026 St. Croix Agriculture and Food Fair, sharing information about trails, tree planting initiatives, community green spaces, and opportunities for residents to get involved in building a healthier and more connected island.

Throughout the three-day event, hundreds of visitors stopped by the VITAL booth to learn about current projects, explore trail maps, ask questions about hiking and mountain biking opportunities, and discover how trails, trees, and public spaces contribute to community well-being. The booth also highlighted VITAL's work to expand access to outdoor recreation, plant trees in underserved areas, and preserve important cultural and natural resources across St. Croix.

Visitors had the opportunity to enter prize drawings, meet VITAL volunteers and team members, and learn about upcoming projects and events. The fair provided a valuable opportunity to connect with community members, partner organizations, and supporters who share a vision of a greener, healthier, and more active Virgin Islands.

VITAL extends its thanks to everyone who visited the booth, shared ideas, volunteered their time, and supported our mission during Agrifest 2026. Community engagement is at the heart of everything we do, and events like Agrifest help strengthen the partnerships that make our work possible.
We look forward to continuing to grow trails, plant trees, and create meaningful outdoor spaces for the people of St. Croix and the wider Virgin Islands community.
