This proposed pathway segment would cross the Island giving users access to the Sunny Isles Shopping Center and to the JFL Hospital, connecting people to services.  This pathway will open new ways of travel at the middle of the Island encouraging residents to use it for daily use.  There are two main options for this segment with one joining at either the 5 corners intersection or by the Federal Court house and on the South Shore near the Lime Tree Terminal.  This segment when jointed to the pathway system will connect Sunny Isles to both East and West Historical Towns and the Airport.

Collaborating Partners needed are the DPW, DPNR, communities, Police Dept., Sunny Isles Shopping Center, Hospital, Tax Assessors Office, VIYA and Land owners.
