Governor Bryan signed the Complete Streets Act into Legislation for the VI.  The VI Trail Alliance is working with AARP and the Walkability Institute of the VI to set up the Complete Streets Task Force.

01/2022 UPDATE:  The VI Trail Alliance Vice President gave testimony before the Senate in support of Complete Streets Legislation. We await the passage of the bill by the Governor in 2022.  Pedestrian infrastructure improvements are critical over the next few years as the territory rebuilds major roads.  The inclusion of multi-use pathways, bike lanes, sidewalks and public transit will affect the way we move and access goods and services into the future.  Let's make people as important as vehicles in our street designs in 2022 and beyond.
