Trail Experience
400 Years Trail climbs through shaded forest above Estate Windsor, gradually gaining elevation before following a rocky gut uphill toward the remains of a historic animal-powered sugar mill. The climb becomes steeper in the upper section, making this one of the more physically demanding hikes in the Windsor trail system. Along the way the dense canopy provides welcome shade, and the historic ruins near the top offer a fascinating glimpse into St. Croix’s plantation past.
